English Tour: Red deer rutting season

The red deer rut at the Veluwe is perhaps one of the most impressive natural spectacles of the year. During this period, the males make themselves heard, and a primal sound resonates through the Veluwe forests. Because it's the rut, the deer are also more visible, and we might just come face to face with these forest giants. Besides red deer, we also have a chance of seeing fallow deer, roe deer, and wild boar. The approximately 10km walk takes us past open heathlands and through woodlands. We'll stop at least once along the way for food and drinks.

Please note: There are no restrooms in the area, so it's wise to use a nearby restroom before the start of the excursion. Participants should also bring their own food and drinks for the walk.
